Alina Bals : LMT/OWNER, RELAXATION HEALER
A glimpse at the soul behind the hands:
A 2011 graduate with an associate of occupational studies degree in therapeutic massage; I eagerly set out to heal one client at a time. Early on I noticed that my gift was not only in releasing tension in muscles but in releasing tension in the spirit. An energy within me that allowed my hands to heat with a magnetic force. Later to learn this was Qi. Qi literally translates as "breath", and "life force" or sometimes in pop culture as "the force". With Qi, i am able to use the power i have pooled into my hands to re-energize damaged muscles and areas of the body that feel weak or stressed.
Each client is unique and I take time to listen to everyone's individual needs to give them the best massage possible. I work with your specific requests with all of my energy/qi concentrated on bestowing harmony and therapeutic healing to the mind, body, and soul.

"Hi! My name is Shannon. Although I am fairly new to massage, I bring a tremendous amount of passion and energy to my work. After being in the insurance industry for almost 10 years, I was ready for a change. I wanted to work in a field that allowed me to help others and continue to grow as an individual. Massage allows me to do that and so much more. When I first started to see the positive impact I was having on my earliest clients I knew that I was in the right field. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing the immediate results of your work whether they are physical, emotional, spiritual or otherwise. Massage touches us on so many levels, and to be part of a person’s healing experience is a true honor.
I graduated in 2017 from the European Massage Therapy School in Las Vegas, NV. I was trained in many different modalities including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Prenatal, Hot Stone, Aromatherapy, Body Mobilization, PNF Stretching, Trigger Point, Reflexology, etc. I also have extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and certain pathologies which aids in assessing my clients’ individual needs. My aim is to help you relax, ease your tension, relieve your pain, and help you escape from the daily grind!"

Khalilah Shabazz: LMT
I love being a massage therapist because I like to be in a relaxed state as often as life allows me to be; I love when I give a massage to transfer that good positive relaxing energy from me to my client I am always in a relaxed state when I give a massage. Even if I wasn't in a relaxed state before I began just getting into the flow of the relaxing music and oils while giving the massage helps me relax along with my client.
Our San Fran/Oakland Therapists
Katlyn Beattie: LMT
I take a neuromuscular approach to releasing the muscles with more firm specific work in problem areas while still maintaining overall soothing flow and incorporating gentle rocking/ shaking and some crainosacral to reset and tune down the nervous system creating new neural pathways to provide long term relief and working on changing the muscle memory and posture. My goal is to offer gentle compassionate touch to induce the body’s own “self-healing” mechanism while doing deeper and more focused work when necessary.
Abel Mcguire: LMT
Abel, began a massage apprenticeship in 1983. He quickly became fascinated with self-massage and the dynamic healing power of reflexology and acupressure. In 85’ he opened his first office in the basement of a high-rise complex. After reading about blind therapists in Asia. He initiated his own practice of massaging established clients in a room without light for five years. His developed intuition became the foundation to understand energy compensation in a new light; that brought him to a signature technique called Reflex Symmetry Bodywork, and now sought for alternative bodywork and pain relief. Recently, I was hired for a couple’s massage . While setting up for the massage, I noticed the women was coughing. When I asked her about it, she said that the cough had started in the last hour. I informed her about how reflexology could most likely stop the cough, since it had just started. She was intrigued! I massaged the top of her hand as well as pressing her lymph nodes on her neck, she felt immediate improvement . Reflex Symmetry works equally well in the early stage of a sore throat, as well first-aid treatment; because massaging these areas allows your immune system and inflammation reduction to fight back before symptoms strengthen and takes firm hold in the body.
